Hans Cool
Hans is a seasoned professional with a diverse array of experiences prior to joining Eneco Ventures. Upon graduating in Applied Physics at Delft University, majoring in Quantum Mechanics, he worked several years at a leading strategy consulting firm. He then honed his business knowledge by completing an MBA at IESE Business School.
Driven by a strong desire to make this world a better place, Hans was a pioneer in 2004 when he co-founded Alucha, a company focused on advanced recycling technology and circular solutions. As CFO, he built this company from scratch that now has some of the major global waste- and paper industry players as its clients.
Leveraging his entrepreneurial experience in setting up and managing complex technological projects & companies, with a focus on strategy and finance, Hans is also a regular mentor at YES! Delft
Hans thrives in ambitious start-up/scale-up environments where he can use his experiences and skills to propel them to a leading position.
Hans really enjoys being in Nature with friends and family. Hiking and camping, preferably in the mountains, are among his favorite activities. Spain is a preferred destination, the country that he lived in for almost 10 years.
