About Eneco
Eneco is active in the energy sector and operates at the heart of society. Our roots go back to the 19th century. We were the first energy company to choose a sustainable strategy in 2007 and we are still following that course. Eneco has developed to become a leader in the energy transition, both in Belgium and in the Netherlands. We are one of the biggest investors in sustainable energy. We work together with millions of consumers and many companies. We put the energy transition into practice, with smart, sustainable and affordable products and services.

Developing green electricity and innovative energy services
The energy transition is all about making the switch from fossil fuels to fully-sustainable energy sources. It involves switching from a centrally organised energy system to a system in which we all manage our own energy. Our consistent course has enabled us to become the frontrunner in the energy transition. We continue to grow in using renewable sources and invest in innovative services.

With our mission "Everyone’s sustainable energy", we help people make the next sustainable step in the energy transition. Political and policy decisions at EU, national and local level affect our business and the relationship with our customers. We strengthen our role as a leader in the energy transition because we have direct and personal relationships with policymakers and legislators. We are also a member of relevant branch organizations and interest groups. We are transparent about our way of working.

Eneco serves its customers with various brands. Each brand plays its own role in the generation, consumption, storage and distribution of sustainable energy. Together, we are leaders in the energy transition: both as green energy supplier as well as inventors of smart energy solutions.
